Important: This Action Cannot Be Undone
Once you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before continuing.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the Calbi App
- Open the Calbi app on your device
- Go to the Account tab (bottom navigation)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Read the warning about what will be deleted
- Type DELETE in capital letters to confirm
- Tap the "Delete My Account" button
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you can't access the app, send an email to:

📝 Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include: Your registered email address, name (if provided), and reason for deletion (optional)
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, photo)
- Height, weight, and dietary preferences
- All uploaded food photos
- Meal history and nutrition analysis
- AI-generated insights and recommendations
- Saved meal suggestions
- Subscription information
- Your account and login credentials
Before You Delete
📱 Cancel Active Subscriptions: If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in your app store settings. Account deletion does NOT automatically cancel subscriptions.
How to Cancel Subscriptions:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Calbi → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Calbi → Cancel Subscription
⏱️ Processing Time: Account deletion may take up to 30 days to complete. Some data may be retained for legal or compliance reasons for a limited time.
Data Retention After Deletion
After you delete your account:
- Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you cannot log in
- Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems
- Within 90 days: Data is removed from backup systems
- Legal retention: Some data may be retained if required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes)
Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Under data protection regulations, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Deletion: Delete your account and data (Right to be Forgotten)
- Portability: Export your data in a portable format
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data

Alternative: Temporarily Deactivate
Not ready to permanently delete? You can temporarily deactivate your account:
- Simply stop using the app and cancel your subscription
- Your data remains saved and you can return anytime
- No need to delete - just take a break!
